Commissioned in December 2011, Verninskoye mine (Polyus Verninskoye) in the Bodaibo District of the Irkutsk Region is one of Polyus’ youngest assets. Following its ramp-up, processing capacity was expanded in four stages, resulting in a 50% increase in annual throughput, from 2.2 mln to 3.5 mln tonnes of ore.

Verninskoye boasts the highest recovery rate among the Company’s operating assets, at 90%.
