Today, November 29, 2005, the Board of Directors of LLC “Aldanzoloto GRK” has appointed Rushan Dulatov as General Director of the company.

Rushan Dulatov was born in 1960. He graduated from North Caucasus Mining Institute as mining engineer in 1982 and Norilsk Industrial Institute as an economist in 1994. Prior to his appointment as General Director of LLC “Aldanzoloto GRK” he served as First Vice-President – Deputy General Director and acting General Director of LLC “Aldanzoloto GRK”.

LLC “Aldanzoloto GRK” is the largest gold producer in the region of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In 2004 its production output reached 4,814 tones of gold (155 k oz).

ZAO “Polyus” purchased from IG “ALROSA” 99,2% of the shares of LLC “Aldanzoloto GRK”, 50% of the shares of OJSC “Yuzhno-Verkhoyanskaya Mining Company” and 100% of the shares of OJSC “Yakutskaya Mining Company” in September, 2005. The acquired companies hold licenses for three gold deposits – Kuranakh ore field, Kyutchus field and Nezhdaninskoye deposit – located in the region of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
