Expert RA confirms an AAA.ru credit rating to PJSC Polyus with a stable outlook

PJSC Polyus (MOEX: PLZL) («Polyus», or the «Company») notes that Expert RA, a Russian credit rating agency, has confirmed an AAA.ru credit rating to the Company and one of its subsidiaries. This is the highest rating category according to the agency`s methodology. The rating outlook is stable.

In its review, Expert RA notes that the rating AAA.ru assigned to Polyus is driven by the strong assessment of Company`s business profile, low leverage, high liquidity and low level of corporate risks.

In addition, Expert RA highlights the Company’s high-quality corporate governance, strategic planning and high level of transparency, which support the assessment of the Company’s business profile.

Polyus is a Top-5 global gold mining company by production volumes and one of the largest gold miners in terms of attributable gold ore reserves. The Company has the lowest production costs among major global gold producers.
