PJSC Polyus (LSE, MOEX: PLZL) («Polyus», or the «Company») notes that Fitch Ratings («Fitch») has downgraded the Company’s Long-term Foreign Currency Issuer Default Rating to ’CC’ from ‘B’ and removed them from Rating Watch Negative on 11 March 2022.
These rating actions followed the agency’s downgrade of Russia’s sovereign ratings to ‘C’ on 8 March 2022.

The company demonstrates the lowest production costs among major global gold producers.
