Located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, just 25 kilometers from Polyus’ flagship operation Olimpiada, Blagodatnoye is the Company’s third largest mine. The processing plant (Mill 4) was commissioned in 2009 and capacity was subsequently ramped up from 6 mln to 9 mln tonnes of ore per year.

In late 2020, Polyus made the final investment decision on the construction of a new mill at Blagodatnoye with a processing capacity of 8 mln tonnes of ore per year. The ramp-up of Mill 5 is planned for 2026.

The project will increase Blagodatnoye’s total processing capacity to up to 17 mln tonnes of ore per year.

Together with Olimpiada, Blagodatnoye forms part of the Krasnoyarsk Business Unit (Polyus Krasnoyarsk).
