The Kuranakh ore field is a group of deposits located in the Aldan District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Polyus Aldan is currently operating deposits under licenses within the Kuranakh ore field.
In 2024, the Company implemented expansion project at Kuranakh Mill increasing its annual processing capacity to 7.5 mln tons of ore.
Polyus Aldan plans to expand the capacity of the heap leaching site in 2025 from 1.5 to 5 million tons per year.
The Company is also implementing a new heap leaching complex in the southern part of the Kuranakh ore field. The project will be gradually launched, reaching its design capacity of 12.5 mln tons per year by the end of 2028.
